Welcome to beautiful East Lake in Michigan’s upper peninsula! East Lake is located about 65 miles northwest of the Mackinaw Bridge in Luce County, just
west of Newberry. East Lake is a small quiet lake, approximately 122 acres in size, with a maximum depth of 22 feet. Known for good fishing! Not a no wake lake, but primarily used by pontoon boats and fishing boats. Occasional ski boats or jet skis, but usually just holidays (weekend warriors). There is a DNR public boat launch on the north side of the lake across from the Bear Den store.
